Sandpiper's PTA Committees are organized into 7 areas:
Communications
The PTA seeks to build a bridge between the school and the home. Communication plays a key role in keeping parents, teachers and staff connect with one another.
Fall Events
Fall events take place during the months between September and December. They include social events, such as the Fall Carnival, as well as Character Counts week, a week-long education program designed to supplement our school's year-long character education program.
Fundraising
Fundraising activities pay for the programs and events of the PTA, as well as enable the PTA to subsidize classroom supplies, school technology and buses for field trips.
Programs
Programs take place at least twice a year and include activities focused on the students (e.g. Art in Action) as well as the parents (e.g. Parent Education).
Public Relations
Through events such as coffee chats, the PTA seeks to create relationships that build strong communities. These communities are a key success to advocating for the rights of every child at the local, state and national levels.
Spring Events
Spring events take place during the months between January and June. They include social events for the entire school, like the Family Dinner Dance, as well as support for specific groups, such as 5th Grade Graduation.
School-Force
School-Force is the Education Foundation serving the Belmont-Redwood Shores School District.
