Welcome Back Registration - Required for all families!
An annual tradition, Welcome Back Registration (WBR) enables families to process all necessary paperwork before school begins. Please note these important dates on your family calendar:
- Friday, August 22 - Packet Pickup (5:00 pm-6:30 pm)
Learn your child's class placement and pick up your back to school registration packet. Each packet contains important school documents such as Emergency Contact Forms, as well as information about PTA programs and events. Arrange for a friend or neighbor to pick up your packet for you if you are unavailable.
- Monday, August 25 - Registration Event (3:00 pm-7:00 pm)
Allocate 30 minutes to process the District, PTA, and school forms in your packet (save time by completing forms at home). Please make every effort to attend. Students will not be allowed to attend school until the District forms are returned! To make alternate arrangements, please contact the front office.
- New! Bring Class "Wish List" Supplies to WBR: A classroom supply "wish list" has been developed for each grade level (your child would have brought it home at the end of school). This list will help ensure your child's classroom has everything needed to begin a successful year. To make the first day of school easier for your child and their teacher, these items will be collected at Welcome Back Registration on August 25. If you wish to participate, please bring the items in a paper bag with your child's name and room number written on it. Drop the bag off in front of your child's assigned classroom before you proceed to Welcome Back Registration (they will be brought inside the classroom that evening).
Can't find the wish list? Click here to view it now.
HELPERS NEEDED! If you are available to welcome families or file their paperwork, your help is welcome at one or more of these shifts: 2:30-4:00, 4:00-5:30, and 5:30-7:00 pm. Please contact Laura Parks or Julia Leeper for more information. |

Summer Shopping Supports Sandpiper
Every time you shop at your local grocer, you can support the PTA at no cost to you. Our local grocers will make a contribution to help sponsor the programs and resources PTA offers throughout the year. Whether it's Trag's Market, Whole Foods, Mollie Stone's, Lunardi's, Foodville, Draeger's, Safeway or Andronico's, we've got most of the local supermarkets covered!
Over 200 Sandpiper families and friends support the PTA using escrip - a safe, secure and easy way to support our school. Please sign-up at http://www.escrip.com/ today and join in this opportunity!
Here's how:
Do you shop at Nob Hill? Although they do not participate in eScrip, they do offer the Quality of Life Card. When you present this card at checkout, a donation will be made to the Sandpiper PTA. If you already have a card, keep it handy and don't forget to use it. If you need a card, contact Vivian Crisman for more information. |
