Sandpiper Elementary School News
Congratulations! Second Grade Teachers Gina Bruno, Maureen Coquillard, Lana Ferguson, Connie Morgan, Nancy Murray, and Sheri Sitkoff have been selected to receive a San Mateo County School Boards Association J. Russell Kent Award for 2008. This team is being recognized for The Standards Based Curriculum Connection, an innovative approach to provide all second grade students with enrichment in fine arts, art history, music, a study of American heroes and heroines, poetry, and making healthy choices through an increased awareness of the food pyramid.
